Dentures Can Make
A Real Difference

Dentures

Put A Little Sparkle Back In Your Smile with comfortable dentures

Tooth decay, gum disease and injury can all lead to the devastation of losing our natural teeth. This loss can affect your looks, confidence, well being and overall health.

A set of carefully and professionally made dentures from Cherryvalley Dental Care can replace missing teeth and restore and enhance your smile. They will also improve your quality of life by making it easier to eat and by supporting sagging facial muscles for a younger appearance.

Creating Your Perfect Smile

Dentures are not a one-size-fits-all solution.

That’s why we take the time to carefully and thoroughly assess the health of any remaining teeth, your mouth and your jaw so we can create dentures that fit comfortably and securely.

We will also take digital impressions of your mouth so we can make incredibly precise measurements that we can use to create your custom built dentures.

FAQs

Can I eat normal food with dentures?

Most people adjust to their new dentures quickly and when they do, eating will feel quite natural. You will need to take extra caution, especially at first, when eating hard or sticky food. You can also use a small amount of adhesive to help stabilise your dentures and hold them in place.

Are dentures comfortable?

At Cherryvalley Dental Care we do our very best to make sure your new dentures fit as securely and comfortably as possible. However, if we perform any extractions before fitting your new dentures, those areas may be tender or uncomfortable for a week or so.

We will also teach you an easy to follow daily routine which will stimulate circulation in your mouth tissue using a soft bristled toothbrush and prevent plaque buildup before you put your dentures in for the day.

Can I sleep in my dentures?

We strongly recommend that you do NOT sleep with your dentures in place nor should you ever wear them for 24 hours straight without performing proper oral hygiene. To prevent your gums and bones from receding they will need a chance to ‘breathe’ and relax every day. We recommend taking them out when you’re getting ready for bed, cleaning them and storing them safely every night.
